Walkie Talkies.

In Film and Television production, there is no time to waste learning new Walkie Talkies. That’s why the Motorola CP200 has been, and will continue to be, the standard. My Walkie Talkies for rent come complete with Custom Cases, Chargers, Spare Batteries, and Surveillance Headsets. I believe my Walkie Talkies are the best option for Film and Television production in Las Vegas for several reasons:

Firstly, they are local. No need to ship them across the planet in this age of rising fuel prices and climate change. Not to mention you’d save rental time! Also, before licensing the frequencies used (which are guaranteed to be legal in Las Vegas), I scanned the spectrum to choose the cleanest frequencies possible in Las Vegas. One compliment I often get is that there is rarely any interference or the need to switch to channels 9-16.

Secondly, they cater to specifically Film and Television production. I work in the industry, so I understand the quirks of these productions and speak the same language. My hours are very flexible for pickups and drop-offs. Have a dark day during your rental? No problem, no charge. Each package comes with enough spare batteries and chargers to keep you going into OT, no extra charges. In Las Vegas, there is also a need to supply crew with Surveillance Headsets, so they come with every rental, no extra charge. The only paperwork I require is a COI- no lengthy rental agreements or Fax Machines required to rent these Walkie Talkies in Las Vegas.

Third, they are CP200d, the standard in Television and Film production. Each crew member has probably used one of these every day of their career. They are familiar and easy to use, so there is no need to waste time learning new technology. Also, many other digital models sound terrible! These walkies use Analog transmission, and sound great. Most crew members will probably have their own surveillance headset that will plug in and work, no headaches. Production will also have a pretty good idea of their transmission range, since they’ve used them so many times.

Fourth, pricing. My no-nonsense pricing means when we make a deal, you won’t find any add-ons on the final invoice- chargers, spare batteries, cases, surveillance headsets all come as part of the package. This means less headache when budgeting, then less headache during wrap. You’re welcome Production and Accounting :)

Fifth, packaging. Everyone is familiar with Pelican cases- waterproof, rugged, no-nonsense protection so that you can toss these cases in the back of the box truck and not worry they will spill or get damaged. Also, they are easier to count at the end of the day, saving valuable time when you’re trying to see those taillights and mark that production report. My Walkie Talkies for rent in Las Vegas always go out with a sharpie and tape to label, so even if you’ve got a green PA that didn’t anticipate the need for labels, I’ve got you covered. Also included is a Walkie Talkie Sign-Out sheet, helping reduce L&D and time spent searching for that missing Walkie Talkie at the end of the day.

Finally, dealing with a local company in Las Vegas. I’ve listed several reasons why renting my radios are superior to bringing them from out of town (technical, logistical, familiarity), but dealing with a local small business can have other benefits as well. Want that tax credit? Might want to go with a local business in good standing with the Nevada Secretary of State. Need recommendations for other vendors or crew? I can help with that!

While it’s easy to look at Walkie Talkies as a mundane but necessary part of Production, it only takes one bad experience to quickly remind us how ESSENTIAL solid communications are on set. I firmly believe that by renting my Walkie Talkies, your production will have made the best choice for two-way communications here in Las Vegas.
